Carsten Heusmann

Carsten Heusmann (born September 11, 1969 in Bremerhaven ; † November 13, 2015 ) was a German musician , composer and music producer .

Act

Together with his partner at the time, Jan-Eric Kohrs , he founded the music production company übergog music in Hamburg in 1995 , with which they were able to achieve their first successes with publications by artists such as Blümchen and JouJou shortly after they were founded. After they met Frank Peterson in 1997 , they began working with the Nemo studio. In 1999, Jan-Eric Kohrs, Michael Soltau and Frank Peterson succeeded in reviving the Gregorian group , founded by Peterson in 1991 , of which over 5 million albums had been sold by 2010. After separating from Jan-Eric Kohrs, Heusmann continued to work with artists such as Sarah Brightman , Amelia Brightman, Gregorian, Nevio , Alannah Myles , Helloween and Blind Guardian . He was also on tour with Gregorian as musical director and keyboardist .
