Monbrunn is a district of Miltenberg in the Odenwald . Monbrunn is located in the Miltenberg valley between Geißenbuckel , Greinberg and Kohlplatte . The village with 62 inhabitants is economically shaped by agriculture. In Monbrunn there is a restaurant and a riding stables. The Franconian Marienweg leads through the village .

The only association in town is the Monbrunn volunteer fire brigade. In the neighboring town of Wenschdorf, to which Monbrunn belonged politically until 1976, the Musikverein-Wenschdorf Monbrunn has its home. Since 1929 this club has mainly consisted of musicians from the two high-altitude districts.

Monbrunn is connected to the network of the Verkehrsgemeinschaft am Bayerischen Untermain (VAB). During the holiday periods, only the on-call bus runs, with the exception of the trade fair bus line to the Michaelmas fair at the end of August / beginning of September.

The place belonged to the municipality of Wenschdorf, which was incorporated into the district town of Miltenberg on January 1, 1976. Monbrunn has had a city council in Miltenberg since 2008. After the local elections on March 16, 2014, Monbrunn has for the first time two district councilors in the district council of the Miltenberg district.
