Mondrian is free software for interactive data visualization .

Mondrian can data from text files , CSV files , data from R and from JDBC - database import. Scatter plots , box plots , bar charts , histograms , mosaic plots , parallel coordinates and charts to detect outliers and maps are implemented as graphics cards. Mondrian is operated via a graphical user interface . Data can be selected and highlighted in the graphics ( color brushing). In addition, information on the respective data is displayed when you move the mouse over the graphics. Simple data management operations are supported.
