Monika Fink (born July 14, 1952 in Haan ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament from 2001 to 2014 .

Life and work

After secondary school, Fink completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk and then worked for Sparkasse Düsseldorf until 1982 . From 1991 to 2001 she was a member of the constituency of the Bundestag member Elke Leonhard . In addition, she was the head of the information and advice center of the women's network in Bitburg . Most recently she was a sales driver at a bakery.

Fink is divorced and has three children.

politics

Fink has been a member of the SPD since 1976. In 1993 she became a member of the SPD district committee in Bitburg-Prüm, which she chaired from 2004 to 2013.

Fink has been a member of the district council of the Bitburg-Prüm district since 1994, and from 2009 to 2014 she was the first district councilor in the Eifel district. She has been a member of the VG Rat Bitburger Land since 2014. Since 2009 she has been a member of the Idesheim local council .

Fink had been a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament since 2001. On December 31, 2014, she resigned from her mandate. Nico Steinbach moved up for her in the state parliament.

Fink has been the district chairwoman of the German Red Cross in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm since December 2013.
