Monika Wicki

Monika Theresa Wicki (born December 29, 1967 in Dielsdorf ) is a Swiss educational scientist at the Intercantonal University for Curative Education (HfH) in Zurich and Zurich Cantonal Councilor ( SP ).

Wicki studied educational science , sociology and psychology at the University of Zurich and received her doctorate in 2008. She worked as a research assistant at the chair for general pedagogy at the University of Zurich. Since 2010 she has been working as a research assistant at the Intercantonal University for Curative Education in Zurich.

The focus of research in the area of ​​adults and elderly people with disabilities is in the areas of intellectual impairment, future planning, palliative care , care in the dormitories for disabled people and judgment.

Wicki has been a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council and a member of the Commission for Education and Culture (KBIK) since August 2014.
