Monika Wicki
Monika Theresa Wicki (born December 29, 1967 in Dielsdorf ) is a Swiss educational scientist at the Intercantonal University for Curative Education (HfH) in Zurich and Zurich Cantonal Councilor ( SP ).
Wicki studied educational science , sociology and psychology at the University of Zurich and received her doctorate in 2008. She worked as a research assistant at the chair for general pedagogy at the University of Zurich. Since 2010 she has been working as a research assistant at the Intercantonal University for Curative Education in Zurich.
The focus of research in the area of adults and elderly people with disabilities is in the areas of intellectual impairment, future planning, palliative care , care in the dormitories for disabled people and judgment.
Wicki has been a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council and a member of the Commission for Education and Culture (KBIK) since August 2014.
