The Arena Corner (English, analogously for boxing ring corner ) is an arched nunatak on the Rymill coast of the Palmerland in the southern part of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 3 km east of McHugo Peak at the northern end of the Traverse Mountains .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee gave the Nunatak its descriptive name based on its shape in 1977 .
