The Mount Babel is a 952 m (other specifications: 948 m ) high mountain in the south of the Labrador Peninsula in the Canadian province of Quebec .
Mont Babel is located in the MRC Manicouagan of the administrative region of Côte-Nord . It forms the highest point of the Île René-Levasseur in the Manicouagan reservoir .
The mountain was named after the missionary Louis-François Babel (1826–1912).
