Manicouagan is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .

It is located in the administrative region of Côte-Nord and consists of nine subordinate administrative units (a city, a municipality, five villages, a district and a municipality-free area). The MRC was founded on April 1, 1981. The main town is Baie-Comeau . The population is 29,825 and the area 39,246.40 km², which corresponds to a population density of 0.8 inhabitants per km².

The Betsiamites Indian reservation is also located in the MRC Manicouagan area , but it is administered autonomously and forms an enclave.
