The University of Montana - Missoula is a state university in Missoula in the western part of the US state Montana . With 13,602 students enrolled, it is the largest college in Montana. It is the main location of the University of Montana system .

The university was founded in 1893. Royce Engstrom has been President of the University since 2010, his predecessor being George M. Dennison.
