Monte Carlo Automobile is a Monaco manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Fulvio Maria Ballabio founded the company in Monte Carlo in 1983 for racing purposes. The plant is located in the Fontvieille district . The racing department is called Monte Carlo Motorsport and occasionally competed in Formula 3000 championship races under the name Écurie Monaco . In 1988 the development of a road vehicle began. The brand name is Monte Carlo . In 1993 there was a connection to Tako Industries from Georgia , which wanted to market vehicles as MiG , and in 1996 to Aixam from Aix-les-Bains .

The first road vehicle was the MCA Centenaire , presented in 1990 on the occasion of the centenary of the Monaco Automobile Club. The body of the sports car was made of carbon fiber. In the prototype came a twelve-cylinder engine of Lamborghini with 455 hp used. The production version GTB had a V12 engine designed by Carlo Chiti with a displacement of 4000 cm³ , which produced 720 hp with the help of two turbochargers . One source called a factory price of 500,000 US dollars .
The open Beau Rivage was cheaper. A V12 engine with a displacement of 3500 cc produced 450 hp without a turbocharger.
The ALA 50 appeared in 2008 . A V8 engine with a displacement of 4500 cm³ and 650 hp provides the drive.
