The Monte Incudine ( Corsican : U Monti Alcudina ) is the most important elevation in the south of Corsica with 2136  m .

From the summit you can see almost the entire mountain world of Corsica. In the north you can see the striking Paglia Orba peak , the mighty Monte Rotondo and the highest point in Corsica, the Monte Cinto ( 2706  m ). The Bavella massif lies directly in the south . With good visibility you can also see the island of Elba and the Italian mainland in the east.

The Monte Incudine is a wide granite elevation in the so-called Plateau Cuscione (Corsican: U Cuscionu ), the largest plateau in Corsica. Monte Incudine can be reached from Zicavo (Corsican: Zicavu ) on the D 69 in the direction of Col de la Vaccia ( 1193  m ) and before the pass, turn left onto the D 428, to the Bergerie de Bassetta. From there, or from the nearby San Petru Chapel, you can walk to the summit in around three hours on well-marked paths. After about an hour you come to the demanding GR 20 long-distance hiking trail , which crosses Corsica in 15 daily stages from north to south.
