Montgrassy
Montgrassy is the name of a planned merger municipality in the canton of Vaud , Switzerland .
The municipalities involved in the project included Bettens , Oulens-sous-Echallens and St-Barthélemy, and Bioley-Orjulaz .
After Bioley-Orjulaz left, Bettens, Oulens-sous-Echallens and Saint-Barthélemy continued to pursue the project. However, the merger was later rejected and does not appear to be pursued.
The name Montgrassy was derived from a hill called Le Grassy in the center of the three merged parishes.
