The Monti Aurunci (Aurunker Berge) are a low mountain range in the Italian region of Lazio . It is located about 130 km southeast of Rome and 70 km northwest of Naples , between the valley of the Liri and the Tyrrhenian Sea . The Monti Ausoni connect to the northwest . The ridge is a karstified limestone mountain range.

The Aurunker Mountains have an extension of about 30 km in a west-east direction and 15 km in a north-south direction.

19,374 hectares of the area are protected in the Parco Naturale Regionale dei Monti Aurunci nature park .
