The Montia Lake is a lake in South Georgia in the South Atlantic . In the Busen region, it lies between Foxtail Peak and Alopecurus Peak on the north bank of Cumberland West Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013 after the brook spring herb ( Montia fontana ), which is common in this area.
