The Montigny Glacier is a steep glacier in the Bowers Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows in an easterly direction to the Irwin Glacier , with which it merges shortly before it joins the Graveson Glacier .
It was mapped by surveying work by the United States Geological Survey and using aerial photographs by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 1970 after the glaciologist Raymond J. Montigny, who conducted field research between 1966 and 1967 contributed to the Meserve Glacier .
