Monzinger spring cookies
The spring place is a vineyard location in Monzingen an der Nahe . The site is mainly planted with Riesling , but also with gray, white and pinot noir . The location belongs to the Nahe wine-growing region .
Where the snow melts particularly quickly due to intense sunlight and a view over the Nahe valley is offered, the site name "spring place" is close and has been registered in the cadastre for centuries. The ground is schisty, stony and more or less interspersed with red clay of the " Rotliegend ". It tends to bring full, spicy wine aromas. The spring place is a first location of the VDP .
