The Moody Peak is a 1,800 m high mountain peaks in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It marks the northern end of the Boomerang Range of the Transantarctic Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1964 after Junior L. Moody, boatswain's mate in the United States Navy , who was responsible for loading and unloading aircraft at McMurdo Station from 1959 to 1960 .
