The Moonie nunatak is a small nunatak in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . In the Gustav Bull Mountains, it rises 1 km east of the Jaques-Nunatak and 5.6 km south of the Kennedy .

Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 and 1959 were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him in 1968 after Patrick John Moonie (1936-2016), who worked as a radio operator on Mawson Station in 1967 and was involved in exploring the Gustav Bull Mountains.
