Mount Kennedy is a small and rocky mountain in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . In the Gustav Bull Mountains, it rises 1.5 km south of Mount Rivett .

Participants in the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) landed on February 13, 1931 in an airplane near the neighboring Scullin Monolith . They named the mountain described here after the Australian physicist Alexander Lorimer Kennedy (1889–1972), who was involved in the research trip.
