Moore Pinnacle is a 2650 m high rock needle in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range it rises in the southern part of the massif of Mount Olympus .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 2001 after Captain Robert Rouse Moore (1904-1965), ship's captain of the USS Mount Olympus , flagship of Operation Highjump (1946-1947).
