Moratorium (Japanese モ ラ ト リ ア ム ) is a Japanese short film by Takashi Hirose from 2012. The film is about a zombie apocalypse .

action

A murderous zombie disease broke out in Japan and it is spreading rapidly. A group of very unequal survivors set off for the south, hoping to be rescued. However, Tomo was bitten and is already turning into a zombie. Farmer Ken, the group's driver, holds Tomo's sister while Yuto, the group's loudmouth, kills him with blows to the head. Azu is shocked. You can tell that Yuto is not doing well either by the following dialogue in the car, during which he bursts into tears.

On the further trip they take the American reporter Marcel with them, who cannot speak a word of Japanese. Nevertheless, the group gets along and continues on their journey. When they take a break on the way, Ken and Marcel go pee. However, they are attacked by zombies. Butch's penis is bitten off. Marcel manages to get into the car with the others, but Butch still has the key in his pocket. The group opens the door and uses an ax to keep the zombie army at bay. When Azu fishes the key from Ken's breast pocket, however, she is bitten. After successfully escaping, Yuto kills Azu, who is pleading for her life.
