Morbid Mind is a band from Berlin that has been active since 1997 and can look back on numerous concerts, a demo CD and two albums .

Band history

Morbid Mind was founded in 1997 by the two guitarists Markus and Manu, who no longer felt they were in good hands with their previous bands with their musical taste and wanted to play metal instead. In the same year the line-up was completed by Marco on drums, Rafa on bass and Jonas as singer.

Already after the first concert in 1997 the line-up changed and Eppi replaced Marco on drums. In 1998 the first self-titled demo CD followed, which contained a total of four songs. In the same lineup, the debut album Mindless was recorded two years later , which the band distributed on their own and which, with ten songs, is the first full-fledged sound carrier.

Five years and numerous concerts later, the band went to the Landhaus Tonstudio to record the album Ragin 'Deep Inside with ex- Dreadful Shadows drummer Ron Thiele , with which the band also signed a record deal with the Berlin record label Rabazco .

Shortly before the release of Ragin 'Deep Inside , Rafa decided to leave the band and was replaced by Ben, the former bassist of the Berlin punk rock band Cueball . In the new lineup, the band played the "Capital Punishment" tour with 20 concerts all over Germany to promote Ragin 'Deep Inside .

In April 2009 the band released their album Deadly Incorporated , which was recorded again in the Landhaus recording studio. This time Ron Thiele supported the band with the recordings as a consulting producer. Christine "Chrissy" Dotter Weich was able to be engaged as a guest singer by the Berlin band Berliner Bombenchor . Cosimo Binetti, guitarist of the Italian band The Dogma , recorded a guitar solo for the song Talk to the Hand . Deadly Incorporated appeared on the new label All-In Sound, which worked with the distributor Neo / Sony BMG. Immediately after the release, the band broke up.
