The Morelli Glacier is a glacier in the south of Thurston Island off the Eights coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the western part of the King Peninsula , it flows 29 km southeast of Cape Waite into the Abbot Ice Shelf in Peacock Sound .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Panfilo S. Morelli (* 1937), glaciologist at Byrd Station in 1961 to 1962.
