Morelli Ridge is a 4.3 km long mountain ridge in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Asgard Range, it extends north from Hoehn Peak into the upper section of the Bartley Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1997 after Frank A. Morelli of the Department of Biosciences and Planetology of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at Caltech , who studied the surface distribution of microorganisms in the soil of the Antarctic dry valleys from 1970 to 1971 and joined the team from 1973 to 1974 was part of monitoring the environmental impact of the drilling project in this area.
