Morgan Barbançon Mestre (born August 12, 1992 in Paris , France ) is a Spanish dressage rider.

Career

With thanks , she rode at the European Young Rider Championships in 2010.

With the stallion Painted Black , who was previously ridden by Anky van Grunsven , she made the jump to the senior camp and competed with him at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. With the Spanish team she finished seventh there, in the individual she rode to 23rd place.

From 2010 to 2013 she and her sister trained with Anky van Grunsven in the Netherlands. Before that, they were trained by Jan Bemelmans and Jan Nivelle. The sisters have been training under Andreas Helgstrand since mid-2013 .

Private

She attended the International School of Geneva . Her sister Alexandra Barbançon is also active in equestrian sports. She has a Spanish mother and a French father who works as a diamond dealer.

Barbançon has been in a relationship with the Belgian show jumper Nicola Philippaerts since mid-2012 .
