Moritz Hürtgen (* 1989 ) is an author and satirist . Since January 2019 he has been editor-in-chief of the satirical magazine Titanic .

Life

Hürtgen, who grew up near Munich , broke off his German studies at the LMU in Munich despite having completed his bachelor thesis. He then started working for the satirical magazine Titanic in 2013. According to his own information, he is a member of the small party The Party . At the beginning of 2019, he rose from editor to editor-in-chief at Titanic magazine. In the same year his first book appeared, a volume of poetry in which Hürtgen processed his fears lyrically.
