Moritz Schneider (born September 17, 1999 in Giessen ) is a German basketball player .

career

Schneider played in the youth division of VfB 1900 Gießen and played in the youth basketball league for the Basketball Academy Giessen Mittelhessen before moving to the youth department of Science City Jena in 2014 . He played in the youth leagues and in the second Jena men's team in the regional basketball league . For the 2017/18 season he made the leap into the extended Bundesliga squad of the Thuringians. In November 2017 he made his debut in the basketball league with Jena .

In the last preparation game for the 2018/19 season he tore a cruciate ligament, which is why he had to sit out the entire season. In July 2019, the Iserlohn Kangaroos from the ProB announced the commitment of the builder.
