Moriz Schroth (born July 2, 1853 in Vienna ; † April 4, 1937 there ) was an Austrian sculptor and plasterer.

He worked as a plaster caster ("art former") in the plaster foundry of the Austrian Museum for Art and Industry in Vienna, which was run by his father Alexander (1828–1899) . After his death he took over and continued to run it under his own direction from 1905 (address Vienna XII., Dunklergasse 14, Stadtbahn Viadukt 9 to 11). In 1908 he stopped this because of a lack of work and sold it in 1918, in 1920 it was finally closed.

He made death masks for prominent Viennese personalities of his time, such as Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach , Gustav Klimt and Karl Lueger .
