Morral is a village in Marion County , Ohio , United States . The population was 388 as per the 2000 census.
history
The first settlers traveled to this area in 1818. Among them was the young Samuel Morral, who had moved to Ohio with his parents from Virginia. Samuel Morral was a successful farmer and gained a great reputation in the region. The village of Morral, which he founded himself in 1874, was on his land. To his credit it was named after him.
