The Morris Cliff is a steep, east-facing cliff in the Ellsworth Mountains of West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It looms between the Marble Hills and Independence Hills in the Heritage Range . To the east of the cliff are the Patriot Hills and Horseshoe Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Lieutenant Harold M. Morris, a United States Navy pilot who was killed when the Douglas LC-47 "Spirit of McMurdo" crashed on the Ross Ice Shelf on the Ross Ice Shelf on April 2. February 1966 had died.
