Morris E. Leeds

Morris Evans Leeds (born March 6, 1869 in Philadelphia - † February 8, 1952 ) was an American electrical engineer.

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Haverford College in 1888 , he studied physics at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin in 1892/93 .

In 1920 he received a patent for his pneumatic PI controller .

He was awarded the Edward Longstreth Medal (1920) and the IEEE Edison Medal (1948). In 1939 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
