Morrison & Foerster

Morrison & Foerster (short: MoFo ) is a large international firm of business law , as limited liability partnership operates. The firm was founded in San Francisco in 1883 by Alexander Francis Morrison, a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law , and today employs more than 1000 lawyers in 17 offices worldwide. The firm gained notoriety as an advisor to the Organizing Committee of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and represented Apple in the patent infringement suit against Samsung in 2013.

The law firm currently has 17 offices worldwide. 40 professionals work in the German branch in Berlin, which was opened in 2013 (as of 2019).
