The Morrison Hills are a series of rugged and east-west facing hills in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . In the Queen Alexandra chain they loom between the Garrard and Hewson glaciers .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names renamed it in 1966 by Lieutenant I. James Morrison from the United States Navy , who in February 1960 to preparations for the first-time use of aircraft of type LC-130 in Antarctica had worked on several campaigns and the Deep Freeze operation involved was.
