Morten Pedersen (born April 12, 1972 in Tromsø ) is a former Norwegian football player .
Career
Pedersen started his career in the youth department of Storsteinnes IL before moving to Brøndby IF . There he made the leap into the professional department and matured to become a youth national player in his country. For the U-21 Norway , he completed 15 games. His next stations were Tromsö IL and Brann Bergen before he moved to the Bundesliga in 1997 for Borussia Mönchengladbach . He only stayed in Germany for half a year and played five games in the 1997/98 season . He returned to Rosenborg BK in Norway during the winter break . After a brief loan deal to Valerenga Oslo , he tried his luck again in other European countries. He played for KAA Gent in Belgium until 2003 and played 53 games in the first division . He then ended his career with his old employer Tromsö IL.
