Morten Stordalen (born October 5, 1968 in Tønsberg ) is a Norwegian politician of the right-wing Fremskrittspartiet (FrP). He has been a member of parliament in Storting since 2013 .

Life

In 1995 Stordalen moved into the local parliament of the then municipality of Våle . In the successor municipality of Re , he was the deputy mayor from 2002 to 2011. In the parliamentary elections in 2005 and 2009 , he missed entry into the Norwegian national parliament in Storting .

Stordalen finally moved into Storting for the first time in the 2013 election . There he represents the constituency of Vestfold and he was initially a member of the Family and Culture Committee. During the legislative period, he moved to the Transport and Communication Committee in October 2015. After the 2017 election , he became vice chairman of the committee, and in February 2020 he became a member again. Stordalen has also been part of the FrP parliamentary group since October 2017.
