Moses Mawere

Moses Mawere (born March 14, 1980 ) is a Zambian politician of the Patriotic Front (PF).

Life

Mawere, who graduated in forestry, worked as a forest manager. In addition, he completed a degree in development policy , which he completed with a Bachelor of Arts (BA Development Studies). In the election on August 11, 2016, he was elected for the first time as a member of the National Assembly of Zambia as a candidate of the Patriotic Front (PF) and has since represented the constituency of Chipata Central . Shortly after his election, in September 2016, President Edgar Lungu appointed him to succeed Vincent Mwale as Minister for Youth, Sport and Child Development in his cabinet .
