Moses ter Borch , (born June 19, 1645 in Zwolle , † July 12, 1667 in Harwich ) was a Dutch painter and draftsman.

He was the son of Gerard ter Borch the Elder. Ä. and the younger brother of Gerard ter Borch d. J. He learned to draw from his father. He painted a number of high-quality study heads that show him early on as an extremely talented painter and draftsman who was hardly inferior to his brother Gerard. However, when he was just under twenty, he was hired by the Dutch Navy. Shortly after the Battle of Chatham , he fell victim to the chaos of war near the coast of Harwich .
