The Mosfilmowskaja ( Russian Мосфильмовская улица) is a three-kilometer road in the district Ramenki in Western administrative district of Moscow .

history

The street was named in 1952 after the Mosfilm film company , which is located there. Before that it was called Mosfilmstraße and Potylicha (Russian Потылиха). Potylicha is a historic site at the confluence of the Setun and Moskva rivers north of the Sparrow Hills . In the 17th century, the village of Troitskoye-Golenishchevo (or Golenishchevoy-Kutusowo ), which belonged to the Kutuzov family, was located here . In the middle of the 17th century the Church of the Holy Trinity at Troize-Golenishchewo was built here.

  • The housing complex for the Soviet military command (house number 11, corps 1.2.3 and 4). The Marshal of the Soviet Union Vasily Petrov , Colonel General of the Aviators Semyon Kharlamov, the Naval Admiral Nikolai Smirnov and the Marshal of the Aviators and two-time Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Skomorochow lived here .
  • The Church of the Holy Trinity at Troize-Golenishchewo (house number 18a). This church was built in 1644/45 in place of the former wooden church.
  • The embassies of Kuwait, Serbia, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Panama, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Germany , Sweden, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and North Korea
