The Klainen Katsen of Mother Hudson , original title Mother Hitton's Littul Kittons , is a short story by Cordwainer Smith , which tells the rivalry between two planets and the tragic story of the master thief Benjacomin Bozart. The short story was first published in Galaxy magazine in 1961 .

content

Benjacomin Bozart is a fictional master thief and main character in the short story. As a result of cross-generational eugenic experiments, he was conceived and trained for only one mission: to commit the greatest theft of all time and thus to steal the secret of immortality hidden on the planet Norstrilia for his planet Viola Siderea . Bozart begins his raid by kidnapping, torturing, and murdering a young boy from the planet Norstrilia. But already at this point in history he lured agents from Norstrilia on his trail and thus sealed not only his own fate, but also that of his entire people, who are forever enslaved by the Nostrillians as a punishment.
