Motoi Iwa ( Japanese 基岩 'base rock' ) is a 2341 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the southern part of the Queen Fabiola Mountains , it is one of two small rocky outcrops 13 km southeast of Mount Gaston de Gerlache .
Japanese scientists measured it in 19690 and named it in 1975.
