The Mott Snowfield is a large snowfield in the north of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the northeast of the Trinity Peninsula , it lies between the Laclavère Plateau and the Antarctic Sound .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on February 12, 1964 after the British geodesist Peter Gray Mott (1913-1995), head of the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1955-1957), in whose target area this snowfield is located.
