Mouhssin Chehibi

Mouhssin Chehibi (born January 28, 1978 in Tétouan ) is a Moroccan middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter course .

At the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville, he was eliminated in the preliminary run. The following year he won bronze at the 2010 African Athletics Championships in Radés and made it to the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Sydney .

In 2004 he finished fourth at the Athens Olympic Games . At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 and Osaka in 2007 , he reached the semifinals, while at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing he did not get beyond the prelim.

His personal best is 1: 44.16 minutes, set on July 3, 2006 in Athens ; his fastest run in the hall was 1: 47.45 min on March 6, 2004 in Budapest .

Mouhssin Chehibi is married to Hasna Benhassi , who also competes in the 800 m and has won two Olympic medals.
