Mount Archer is a rocky mountain on the Oates Coast in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises immediately south of Archer Point on the west side of Harald Bay .
The mountain was mapped using aerial photographs taken in February 1959 during a research trip of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions led by the Australian polar explorer Phillip Law . As with Archer Point, it is named after Walter William Archer (1869–1944), the cook of the British Terra Nova expedition (1910–1913).
