The Harald Bay is a bay at the Oates Coast in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located between Archer Point and Williamson Head .
Aerial photographs of this bay were made in 1947 by the United States Navy during Operation Highjump (1946–1947). It was also sketched and photographed by the Australian polar explorer Phillip Law on February 20, 1959 on board the ship Magga Dan as part of one of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named the bay after Harald Møller Pedersen, Danish captain of the Magga Dan on this research trip .
