The Williamson Head is a prominent headland at the Oates Coast in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It protrudes there 10 km west-northwest of Drake Head into the Somow Sea .

The cape was discovered and named in February 1911 by the crew of the Terra Nova during the Antarctic expedition of the same name (1910-1913) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott . It is named after Thomas Soulsby Williamson (1877–1940), a participant in this research trip.
