Mount Bastion is a 2530 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Willett Range, it looms west of the Webb Glacier and the Gibson Trail .
Participants in a 1959 to 1960 campaign of the New Zealand Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named it after its appearance, which is reminiscent of a supporting pillar of a bulwark ( English bastion ).
