Mount Bevilacqua is a 1343 m high and mainly ice-free mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Saint Johns Range it rises 2.5 km north of Mount Evans , where two Y-shaped mountain ridges meet.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 2008 after Charles A. Bevilacqua (1930-2016) from the Civil Engineer Corps of the Seabees , who was instrumental in the construction of the first McMurdo Station and the first Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station .
