Mount Bistre

Mount Bistre is a 1,295  m high mountain peaks in eastern Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . Not far from the Oskar II coast, it rises on the northern flank of the Evans Glacier .

The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it in 1947 and again in 1955. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it descriptively on September 4, 1957, as its rock color is reminiscent of brown ink .
