Mount Bris is a 1673 m high mountain on the Davis Coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises as the highest point of the Korten Ridge 1.5 km west of the head end of the Sabine Glacier and 18 km south of Cape Kater .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on September 23, 1960 after French aviation pioneer Jean Marie Le Bris (1817–1872), who allegedly made the first successful human glide flight in December 1856 .
