Mount Cardinall is a 675 m (according to the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee 680 m ) high and conical mountain in the north of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Trinity Peninsula, it rises at the northeast head end of Duse Bay immediately southwest of Mount Taylor .
A team led by Johan Gunnar Andersson discovered him during the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld . The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out the mapping and naming in 1945. It is named after Allan Wolsey Cardinall (1887–1956), Governor of the Falkland Islands from 1941 to 1946.
